The PSPA is seeking an engaged and innovative volunteer leader to serve as the Professional Development Forum Coordinator under the Leadership & Mentoring Committee. The Professional Development Forum is a signature event held annually during the PSPA Annual CME Conference. This interactive forum is designed to empower PAs through leadership development, career advancement education, mentorship, and professional growth opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity for a PSPA member who is passionate about professional development, leadership cultivation, and creating meaningful educational experiences for fellow PAs.
Responsibilities:
The Professional Development Forum Coordinator will:
– Develop the annual forum theme and learning objectives
– Identify, recruit, and coordinate speakers and panelists
– Collaborate with PSPA Conference Planners regarding logistics, scheduling, AV needs, and conference materials
– Assist with determining the session format (presentations, panels, Q&A, interactive discussions, etc.)
– Ensure the forum aligns with the PSPA’s mission of leadership development and mentorship
– Coordinate with the PSPA leadership regarding the President’s Reception following the Forum
– Serve as the primary point of contact for Forum planning and execution
